Sports Activity – Ball Skills
Come and learn new skills with the Action Van, including Football skills and Basketball skills.
The Action Van is an established organisation that delivers a range of supervised sports sessions and provides the relevant equipment needed.
The Action Van has been coming to the youth club for many years and they are a very popular choice with our young people.
They provide two fully qualified trainers to lead the session.
Come along and have a go at football, basketball skills and other ball skills.
Somerset Kickboxing Academy
This is a fun and safe introduction session to Kickboxing. It will be run by qualified instructors.
Kickboxing helps build self-esteem, determination, confidence, discipline and fitness.
Somerset Kickboxing Academy was started in 2011 to bring Kickboxing to a wider audience.
Behaviour Training Session
Looking for strategies to manage your child’s behaviour?
This session will be delivered by Bibic.
Bibic is a small charity based in Somerset supporting children and young adults from 6 months to 25 years with developmental difficulties.
This half-day session will look at behaviour in children and young people with Down Syndrome and how Sensory Processing plays a part.
You will learn about ways to support your child or young person at school and at home.
By the end of the session, we hope to have increased your knowledge around these areas and give you strategies to manage behaviour.

TFL Dance and Drama
We teach every class in a way that allows the individual to reach their full potential and gain the best from our classes. We do this by providing every member with the opportunity to learn and to develop in both technique and confidence.
We use a very wide range of music and movement to ensure that everyone is stretched in both body and mind.
Exercise class with Craig
Exercise class with Communifit
Come along and have a fun-filled exercise class with Craig from Communifit including ball games.
Craig Hardaker started Communifit in 2018. Craig has been working in the health and fitness industry for over 12 years and holds a BSc (Hons) Sports Fitness and Coaching degree, Craig is qualified as a GP referral consultant and sports therapist and is also qualified to undertake sessions of chair-based exercises.
Craig says –
“I enjoy working with individuals, improving their physical condition to help with everyday activities – no matter how big or small. “
Come along to this youth club session and enjoy a fun-filled hour with Craig.
Bristol School of Sewing and Textiles
Sewing is fun, you will be making a felt purse or notebook cover.

Come and have a relaxing session of Yoga with Debbie.
Adaptive Marshall Arts
Come and have a fun filled energetic session learning Martial Arts.
Adaptive Martial Arts (AMA) is registered as a Community Interest Company (CIC). AMA aims to provide a safe, inviting and peer orientated environment where people feel comfortable in trying out exercise and Martial Arts.
Their aim is to increase confidence and self-esteem, whilst giving the participants tools and contacts to go on to pursue sports and exercise with AMA, individually or by using our signposting. Come along to the youth club and have a fun filled session with Gina and Chris and learn some techniques in Adaptive Martial Arts.
Summer Family Picnic 2019
Come and join us for our Summer Family Picnic 2019.
Bring your own blanket and picnic and join us for an afternoon of fun.
We will have giant bubbles, a water table, games and more as well as a visit from entertainer Molly Muddles with her magic show.
Should the weather be unfavourable then we will contact everyone with alternative arrangements.
Refreshments will be available to buy.

Climbing Wall Fun at Oxley Sports Centre
Come and have a go on a climbing wall at Oxley Sports Centre.
At Oxley Sports Centre we have a state of the art brand new bouldering wall and a climbing wall that are regularly updated to provide new routes for experienced and new climbers alike. Come along to Oxley Sports Centre for a fun session of climbing with an experienced instructor.
