Let’s Kick Off the Celebrations
at Space Adventurers
To kick off our WDSAD 2024 celebrations, our next family event will be held at Space Adventurers Soft Play Centre in Taunton, where we will have exclusive use of the centre; it promises to be great fun for the whole family!
Space adventurers cater for every age. The play area is broken into three sections:
- The baby sensory area (for 0 – 2-year-olds) is truly out of this world! It has been developed to stimulate baby’s touch, sight, hearing and overall learning.
- The toddler soft play area (for 2–4-year-olds) is a separate area that lets your child explore as they go, with tunnels and tubes like that of a rocket ship. There is so much to discover! In addition, there are music learning pads, slides, ball pits, Lego blocks, space-ship blocks, and things to climb, and there is a space-themes role-play area, too, for expanding imaginations.
- The junior soft play (for 5–12-year-olds) offers gravity-defying flooring, portals to other galaxies and intergalactic space canons, the perfect place for any young astronaut. It has an interactive Strike Arena around the junior soft play structure. Adored by children and adults alike, choose your colour, enter your name on our launch pad and set off to find as many light-up pods as you can find in your colour. There are also four-lane astro-slides to race against your fellow space cadets, other slides, a football pitch, tunnels, space cannons, and so much more.
There will be squash and water available for children and adults. If you wish to purchase a hot drink, the cafe will be open for you to do so.
The team at Space Adventurers are also kindly providing some small snacks for you to enjoy during the session. These will include nachos (which are gluten-free) with cheese sauce, sour cream and salsa on the side, and there will also be a selection of cakes.
The cafe will also be open for you to purchase additional food if you wish to. The venue has confirmed that they can cater to dietary requirements. You will need to make the staff aware of any allergies or intolerances when ordering your food. Here is a link to view the menu.
Numbers are limited for this event, so if you would like to attend, please book your place by completing the online booking form by WEDNESDAY 28TH FEBRUARY (so we can confirm final numbers with the venue). We will hold a waiting list if all places are booked.
Parking is plentiful around the site, and staff members will be on hand to direct you to the most suitable parking should this be needed.
This event is kindly sponsored by Freemasons; The Lodge of Perpetual Friendship 135, Bridgwater. We are incredible grateful for their amazing donation, helping us find unique ways to bring our families together.
