Sweet Making at Weston super Mare Youth Club

We had an incredible session creating scrumptious peppermint creams that excited everyone!

The young people dived into learning new cookery skills, gaining hands-on experience as they weighed ingredients, mixed everything, and rolled out the dough to perfection. With a variety of sweet cutters in all shapes and sizes, everyone could choose their favourites, adding a fun twist while helping to develop their fine motor skills.

The recipe was carefully crafted to be gluten and dairy-free, ensuring that all dietary needs were met so everyone could fully enjoy the experience.

As the delicious aroma of peppermint filled the air, the excitement didn’t stop there! Each young person had the chance to get creative, designing and decorating beautiful handcrafted boxes to take their treats home. This added an extra element of joy, as they could share their homemade peppermint creams with friends and family.

The sense of achievement and empowerment was unmistakable as they proudly showed off their culinary creations.

It was a fantastic day of learning, laughter, and creativity, with memories that will last long after the peppermint creams are gone!
