Family Support Clinics

Ups and Downs Southwest provide Family Support Clinics in Somerset, North Somerset, and Dorset.

Appointments at the Clinics are bookable in advance and provide individual access to a Family Support Worker in a confidential environment.

This is a free service available to families who have a child or young person with Down Syndrome and is provided by friendly and approachable Family Support Workers who have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share.

We can help you with all of these things and more.

Clinic appointments can be made to discuss matters such as an upcoming school meeting, strategies for managing bedtime or completion of your DLA Form or whatever else concerns you.

To enable us to continue to provide a holistic and personal service to our families our Family Support Team are now going to be available at three different venues throughout the region each month.

We will be running family support clinics in three locations around the region.

Appointments for each clinic are available between 10 am and 2 pm they are booked in up to two-hour slots and must be booked in advance. Unfortunately, we are not able to run the clinics during School holidays

Supporting you in this way means that our Family Support Team are able to reach many more families in need than if individual home visits were provided.
