Our journey and mission to change the outdated stereotype images of our children and young people continues!!
We have decided to launch a 'Positive Awareness Poster Campaign' on March 21st 2011 to coincide with World Down Syndrome Awareness Day.
It is our intention to use these posters wherever possible and to encourage the display and use of them by other organisations wherever possible. We have many of them displayed in local hospitals and colleges and already have four local businesses who are displaying them on their websites.
If you have any ideas or places where you feel you could help us get these posters promoted and viewed by more people then please give us a call at the office and let us know - 01278 691100 - and we'll also be happy to email you copies of the files if you can use them yourself.
Positive images instil higher hopes and expectations and bring with them a brighter vision of the future and so are completely invaluable when seeking to improve the views and expectations of the general public and of professionals invloved with our children, young people and their families.
To view the posters please click on one of the pictures below and then scroll through
We would welcome your feedback - which one do you like best!!
